Join us for Pompano Beach’s Arts Festival! We are excited for the kickoff the 2023-24 season of Old Town Untapped series running October through May. Patrons will enjoy a night filled with live music by local bands and a local DJ, art gallery openings at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center, local art vendors and food trucks.
Old Town Untapped takes place on the 1st Friday of the month from 6 - 10 pm and is FREE for all ages to attend.
The event is located in the heart of Downtown Pompano Beach on NE 1 Street and N. Flagler Avenue near Bailey Contemporary Arts Center, 41 NE 1st Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
Girlfriend Material is a contagiously high energy and fun cover band playing a wide range of the music we all know and love across many genres. True party music!
Band members include:
A duo project consisting of two world renown musicians, this project features guitarist Belkod from the #1 Haitian Party Band “KLASS” as well as keyboardist DD Keys from the ever popular WID Haitian band. Together these two combine to bring a fun and energetic performance of Haitian music with a lot of musicality.
The Barefoot Mailmen are a multi-instrumental group of friends who are gaining an ardent fanbase in South Florida thanks to their crowd-pleasing sound. The trio includes Robby Peterson on guitar, Dave Havens on drums, and Alex Joyel on bass, and they describe their music as anything you could hear or play at the beach--a blend of classic rock, reggae, and surf rock, with a sprinkle of blues and country. Their repertoire includes songs from legendary artists inclding Steve Miller, Van Morrison, Bob Marley, Sublime, Jimmy Buffett, Slightly Stoopid, and original songs of their own such as their local hit “Titi’s Surf Rock.”
Old Town Untapped will be on hiatus during July through September. The event will resume in October 2024.
