With close to 2 million albums and more than 2 million concert tickets sold, including two sold-out shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, O.A.R is planning another exciting summer tour. The band just released their brand new single, “Just like Paradise” via Stem, which will be available on all digital platforms.

“It feels like everyone could use a little extra summer fun this year,” said lead singer and songwriter Marc Roberge. “The song and tour really catch that feeling. We’re looking forward to getting out there, playing what people want to hear, and having as much fun as possible along the way.”

O.A.R. first began to develop their unique sound while in high school in Rockville, Maryland. With three albums under their belt before they finished college, the band began pursuing their musical dreams full time in the summer of 2001. By the end of 2008, the band had released six studio albums and three live double disc CDs. To date O.A.R. has sold close to 2 million albums and more than 2 million concert tickets, including two sold-out shows at New York City's Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.

In 2011, the band released the album, King, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart, No. 3 on the Billboard Digital Album Chart, and was No. 3 at iTunes. King was the follow-up to the band’s 2008 release, All Sides, which contains the platinum hit single “Shattered.” The band’s album, The Rockville LP, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and #6 on the Top Current Rock Albums chart. Upon its release, The Rockville LP hit the top spot on the iTunes Rock Albums chart and #3 on iTunes Overall Albums chart. The album features the songs “Favorite Song”, “Two Hands Up” and smash hit, “Peace.”

O.A.R. has performed on such national TV shows as The Today Show, Live with Kelly and Michael, CONAN and the 2015 Special Olympics Opening Ceremony. In 2015, they performed in New York City’s Times Square New Year’s Eve Celebration to a live audience of over 1.5 million plus their concert was broadcast in a worldwide webcast reaching millions of fans!

2016 marked the band’s 20th anniversary with the release of their new album, XX; a career-spanning collection that shines a light on key moments from the band’s illustrious career and features two new songs including the new single “I Go Through” which was written and recorded as the cameras rolled during the captivating six-part docu-series Evolution of a Song. O.A.R kicks off 2018 with the release of a new single “Just Like Paradise,” and the announcement of a national summer tour.

Based in San Francisco, Matt Nathanson, has evolved into one of the most applauded songwriters and engaging performers on the music scene today. His 2007 album, Some Mad Hope, yielded his breakthrough multi-platinum hit "Come on Get Higher.” His 2013 release, Last of The Great Pretenders, debuted at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 while hitting #1 on iTunes' Alternative Albums chart. Nathanson's latest album, Show Me Your Fangs, was hailed as his most adventurous and prolific album to date featuring the songs, "Giants," "Bill Murray" and "Adrenaline.” Nathanson has been featured as a VH1 "You Oughta Know" artist, and has performed on The Howard Stern Show, Ellen, CONAN, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Dancing with the Stars, Rachael Ray, and The CMA Awards to name a few.

August 28 Rick Springfield Presents Best in Show 2018
This summer, Grammy Award winner Rick Springfield hits the road with a special tour he has curated entitled BEST IN SHOW 2018. Along with the accomplished singer-songwriter and musician will be some of the most iconic rock stars of the beloved “MTV Era” as part of Best In Show 2018: Loverboy, Greg Kihn and Tommy Tutone. AEG Presents is proud to bring this unforgettable concert to The Pompano Beach Amp on August 28, 2018. For more information and tickets, www.pbamp.com.

Says Springfield about the summer 2018 tour, “The Best In Show” tag for the tour is a nod to my album, “Working Class Dog” and also represents what I feel is a big value package for fans of the era. Four full band performances per show from some of the biggest names in the music video era will give ticket buyers a real bang for their buck this summer.”

“Working Class Dog” was the break-through album released in 1981 which contained the hits, “I’ve Done Everything For You”, “Love is Alright Tonight”, and the #1 smash “Jessie’s Girl.” Concert goers can expect to hear not only these and other Rick Springfield smashes, but all of the many hits from the supporting artists.

Springfield also just released his critically acclaimed 20th studio album, “The Snake King” and the music video from the new single, “Voodoo House” beautifully shot on location in the swamps of New Orleans. To Watch the video, click here: https://youtu.be/dAvJDuUXRnI.

Rick Springfield
Over the past four decades, Rick Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. The creator of some of the finest power-pop of the ’80s, a Grammy winning singer, songwriter, and musician who has sold 25 million albums and scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I've Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody,” and “Human Touch.” He’s an accomplished actor who has starred opposite Meryl Streep in the feature film Ricki and the Flash, gave a chameleonic performance as the creepy Dr. Pitlor in HBO’s prestige drama True Detective, earned great reviews for his portrayal of Lucifer this season on the CW hit, Supernatural and most recently played Pastor Charles on American Horror Story. In 2014, Springfield was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located around the corner from the first apartment he lived in when he first arrived in the U.S. from Australia in 1971. Rick’s latest Album, “The Snake King” finds Rick travelling down a dusty dirt road to explore the blues side of his rock ‘n roll and marks a definite departure from the power pop he has been known for.

Loverboy
Loverboy are currently enjoying a cultural renaissance, with major companies such as Taco Bell and Radio Shack using the band’s image and music to promote their products to the ‘80s generation which grew up on the group and others who are just being introduced to their anthems. These days, Loverboy’s not just “Working for the Weekend” but “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” too, performing for those fans who “Get Lucky” enough to catch one of their shows.

Greg Kihn
As a pioneer with the legendary Beserkley Records, Greg Kihn helped write the book on revolutionary west coast rock and roll. He’s toured the world, had hit records, and has won several awards for his hit songs “Jeopardy”, “Break Up Song” and “Lucky." Greg recently obtained the rights to all his old recordings and has re-released his entire catalogue. In support of these releases and his NEW album “ReKihndled," the iconic San Francisco Bay area rocker, radio personality and author has been going out with the Greg Kihn Band across the country.

Tommy Tutone
In 1982, Tommy Tutone exploded onto the music scene with what is one of the best known songs in history. The song that sparked millions of prank calls is none other than "Jenny/867-5309." Coming on the scene at the same time as MTV certainly didn’t hurt at all either, thus cementing him a place in the culture of the 80’s.

Tickets $39.50, $49.50, $69.50, $99.50 and $149.50 plus applicable fees
