Anthony Torres is a multidisciplinary artist who creates mixed media and installation art that incorporates his poetry with personal/collected materials to create visual art pieces. His work is inspired by his experiences growing up as a Puerto Rican in upstate New York, the consequences of his decision to join the military and eventual deployment to Iraq, and his search for identity and purpose through exploring his family and cultural heritage. The artist combines written and projected poetry with personal artifacts, found objects, and related materials.
