In partnership with Tiger Trail Festival.

The 2025 Banned Books Program introduces an exciting evolution of last year’s offerings, with new elements designed to deepen engagement and creativity. This year, live sculpting will replace the painting activity, inviting participants to witness and interact with artists as they bring themes from banned books to life through the dynamic medium of sculpture. Temporary art installations will also debut, offering powerful visual interpretations of the program's themes in unexpected spaces, sparking conversation and reflection.

The discussion format has shifted to a community-driven conversation, fostering an open and inclusive environment where attendees can share their perspectives, stories, and ideas. This change emphasizes collaboration and shared learning, creating a richer dialogue around the importance of banned books and the issues they represent. Another addition is a book drive and collection initiative. While the logistics are still being explored, one idea is to distribute collected books through the city’s network of tiny libraries, ensuring these impactful works reach a broader audience.
