Class of 2024-25 Final Exhibition
The BaCA's Artists in Residence Class of 2025 proudly presents 'The Final Exhibit,' a stunning showcase of their artistic journey and growth. This exhibition, the pinnacle of their residency, features a rich collection of paintings, installations, and more, celebrating the creativity, innovation, and sense of community fostered during their time together. It honors the incredible talent, dedication, and evolution of Nino Loguori AKA Aliguori, Alyssa Book, Angelica Clyman, Constance Ivana, Florencia Clement de Grandprey, Lauren Georgia, Mark Viau, and Symphonii Smith-Kennedy as they make their mark as professional artists. With a diverse mix of artistic mediums, the 2024-2025 class of AiRs brings unique perspectives and cultural backgrounds that have fueled individual and collaborative artistic growth. Throughout the residency, their creative practices have inspired the city’s residents and aspiring artists, offering a glimpse into the vibrant world of contemporary art. Each artist's final project is a testament to their dedication to their craft, while together, ‘The Final Exhibit’ provides a powerful reflection on the pursuit of excellence.
Class of 2023-24 Culminating Exhibition: Fields of Vision: The Imaginative Power of Artists After 270 Days
From Studio to Spotlight, BaCA's Artists in Residence Class of 2024 presents the enchanting “Fields of Vision: The Imaginative Power of Artists After 270 Days” culminating exhibition, featuring paintings, installations, performance art, and more. As the pinnacle of the artists' time together and a true celebration of creativity, innovation, and community, this exhibition celebrates Alejandra Abad, Djerlens “DJ” Chery, Louiveste La Croix, Oscar Montoya, T.M. Pride, and Renee Rey’s undeniable talent, growth, and dedication as professional artists. The 2023-2024 class of AiRs represents a diverse mix of artistic mediums. Each artist's unique perspective, cultural background, and collaborative spirit has fueled the creation of new artwork and an even greater sense of community. Their artistic journeys and creative practices have been on display throughout the residency as a source of inspiration to the City's residents and the area's aspiring artists. When viewed in isolation, each artist's final residency project highlights their commitment to their craft; when appreciated in its totality, “Fields of Vision: The Imaginative Power of Artists After 270 Days” offers the viewer a thought-provoking glimpse of artists pursuing excellence.
Class of 2022-23 Culminating Exhibition: Fin
Pompano Beach Arts was honored to host the group exhibition, Fin, which celebrated the achievements of the 2022/2023 Artists in Residence (AiR) at Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA).
The Final Group Exhibition for BaCA’s Artists in Residence 2023 occurred on June 2nd, 2023 the celebration included a block party that featured live music, food trucks and most importantly a final opportunity to support these amazing artists. The event kicked off Untapped Summer Sizzle Series that ran June – September 2023.
